The Cosplay Festival was taken place at San Francisco Japan Town's Peace Plaza. Dozens of cosplayers ranging from first timers to "Senpai" showed up for the festivity. You could see many familiar characters from Pokemon, Sailor Moon, and even Big Hero 6! It was a wonderful event for both of those who are truly dedicated to this art form and little kids having fun as the characters from their favorite shows. It is where imagination come to life for those embracing their dreams and fantasies.
The Silver Lining Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps handicapped orphans in impoverished areas of Guanxi, China. In 2005 the founders started workshops for employment opportunities for those less fortunate, but over the years they have became a significant influence in the local community.
